Originally from Springfield, MA, Kevin Sanchez is guided by the philosophy that shared meals are a core part of what it means to be human, and he has found fulfillment in his role as Sous Chef at Noko in Nashville, TN.
Sanchez always dreamed of becoming a chef, and in 2021, his wife encouraged him to take the leap. He took a line cook position at a beloved local restaurant in Clarksville, TN, and was quickly promoted to Kitchen Manager. Sanchez then ventured to Nashville in 2022 to work at The Joseph and made his way to Noko in 2024.
Since beginning his career at Noko as Sous Chef, Sanchez is grateful for the opportunity to do what he loves, challenge himself, and provide guests with memorable experiences. Always cooking with creativity and authenticity, Sanchez’ philosophy is to pursue the craft with humility and curiosity. Inspired by Noko’s commitment to changing the hospitality industry through their employee betterment initiatives, his goal is to showcase a healthier version of pursuing a career in restaurants.
When he’s not in Noko's kitchen, Sanchez can be found dancing with his wife, cooking up Puerto Rican food, supporting local restaurants, or hosting dinners—his favorite being grilling parties for friends in the summer.
